Are you interested in volunteering?
The purpose of this is to help people who need someone's help. One characteristic of volunteering is that there is no payment. Usually, if you work for someone or something, you can get money. However, with volunteering, you can't get money. It is not an important thing though. When you do volunteer work, you can get unforgettable memories, precious experiences and a sense of achievement. Also you can meet many people and make friends who have the same purpose as you. You can connect with a lot of people in the world.




 Volunteering includes many types of work and purposes.
1. it is to protect the natural environment. Nowadays, there is a lot of garbage on the street, beaches and so on. In volunteering, you pick it up and clean the general area.
2. it is for animals. For example, if you visit institutions with dogs, cats and any kinds of animals you can volunteer and help them! You can research the behavior of wild birds.

3. it can be a fund-raising campaign. You collect contributions for people who live in poor countries, people who want organ transplants and help with disaster restoration.
4. volunteering can help the management of events. When the event is held, they need help from many people. Not only can you help in the event but you can also enjoy it.
Just remember, when you volunteer, you have to carry the ball even though there is no payment.


 When I was in Japan, I did some volunteering. I helped to cultivate a field with a senior citizen, collected contributions for a disaster area, and helped to manage events. After I finished the work, many people said "thank you!" I was happy even though the work was hard and I was tired. My feeling was better than before I started working.
 In these volunteer experiences, I could learn many things that I couldn't see at first with my eyes. They are valuable memories and experiences. Also I felt that people have a warm heart.
 In Canada, there are many kinds of volunteer opportunities, and I want to join them!


 In conclusion, if you join and volunteer opportunities, you can gain many things except money. It has a lot of kinds, so if you want to do it, you can find and choose one on the internet, magazines or any type of media. You can feel peoples' kindness and make many friends. It can only do good things for you, so why don't we volunteer together?
